The author- pictured here in happier times- has gone on to write a number of books that have been published; one of which was published under his own name.  

After nine years of rural northern living he moved to suburbia to help with a dying family member.   Later he decided to relocate to the third world where he has learned Spanish and frequents the “Sanity Optional” beaches and markets for which the third world is so famous.

To all his friends and well wishers he invites them to consider life in the third world.   In these turbulent economic times he would like to remind you that the third world is, “closer than you think.”
